The Adventure Day for schools in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois is scheduled for Friday May 2^nd and will be conducted at the Cape County Park-South. The theme this year is A Journey Through Space, and will include interactive space-themed activities for students in grades K-6. Representatives from the NASA office at Southeast Missouri State University will be there to provide exciting activities centered around space travel, and the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity plans to volunteer their time at the event. Other activities include crafts, hackey sac, bocce ball, boomerangs, archery, face painting, a petting zoo, and displays from the fire department.

We are thrilled that the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport has decided to sponsor an Aviation post. The first meeting will begin with a tour of the airport. For more information, contact Beverly Cleair at (573) 335-6631 or cleair@lycos.com.

We are also excited about the area's newest Law and Government post, sponsored by Osburn, Hine, Kuntze, Yates & Murphy, LLC. Anyone interested in joining this post may attend the open house on March 27th at 6:00 p.m. at the Limbaugh Law Firm. Members of this post will gain hands-on courtroom experience through mock trials and other law-related actvities.
